The nine collections of sample low-resolution images shown here represent small selections both from scanned slides (taken before 2008) and original digital images (taken from 2008 to the present). The scanned slides, over 12,000 in number, are mostly available on ArtStor. These were in turn selected from over 140,000 slides of art and architecture taken before 2008, when the manufacture of Kodachrome ceased and Nikon simultaneously came out with its first FX-sensor cameras. The original digital files, taken since 2008, were first photographed at 12 mp resolution (Nikon D3 and D700) and those taken in more recent years were photographed at 36 mp resolution (Nikon D800 and D810). All digital photographs have been lightly edited (cropping, color correction, brightness) in PhotoShop.

All of these sample photographs are also available in high-resolution TIFF files for any legitimate scholarly purpose: teaching, museum use and/or publication, without charge. The same principle applies for all of my digital photographs, both scans from slides and original digital photographs. Within time constraints I am happy to provide images in these nine areas, as well as in many more areas not represented here.
